When you invest in a new residential and commercial HVAC system, you may not know what to expect during the HVAC installation. In order to understand our new system process, we’re here to tell you exactly what happens. This way, you can prepare for our well-trained and knowledgeable professionals for your heating and air repair services.
Here, we explain our new system installation process from beginning to end so you’re comfortable and confidant with the steps we take:
On the morning of your scheduled HVAC installation, your new equipment is delivered to your home or company. Once our crew arrives, we lay down drop cloths throughout your property to protect the interior during the process.
Next, our experts remove your old HVAC unit. On the day of your installation, we schedule a pick-up with a local dealer. After your unit is removed, the dealer will pick it up so it can be recycled according to EPA regulations.
After that, two of our highly qualified technicians install your new equipment. We make sure your HVAC installation meets manufacturer’s recommendations and ACCA HVAC Quality Installation Specification standards. Then, we custom measure for new duct work and sheet metal and order it from our sheet metal fabricator.
Next, our technicians charge your new system with the proper level of refrigerant. Then, a “start-up” technician reviews the HVAC installation and makes any final adjustments to ensure that your system is performing to manufacturer’s specifications.
After that, our “start-up” technician reviews the new system with you. He/she will make sure you know the best way to operate it and will answer any questions you have about it.
Lastly, six months after the initial installation, we return for a free system check-up. This check-up ensures your system is performing efficiently and that you’re satisfied with your new unit. At this time, we’ll also present you with our Energy Savings Program (ESP).
